Snowy & Jane offer a warm welcome to their home at Playa de Chacon near the town of Caspe, Spain. We have been here three full seasons and reservations go from strength to strength so we must be doing something right!
We are situated on the banks of the River Ebro at the upper lake, which is world renowned for its large catfish, carp, bass and zander. The lake, depending on the time of year, has an average water depth 6 – 12 meters, an area of over 80 Sqkm. The Lake of Mequinenza is waiting for you.
Snowy and Jane have taken over from the well established “Fischer-Hans waller camp” who after 5 years has hung up his fishing rods. Many of his previous clients still return as they appreciate our excellent location, and the opportunities for some big catfish & carp fishing. The area offers more than just fishing for those catfish & carp! If you should fancy a day off from the fishing, a trip into the typical local town of Caspe aprox.12km, offers bars and restaurants situated around the many squares.
